 Areas of Focus

Children & Teens (Ages 8+)

Growing up can be challenging. Therapy provides children and teens with a safe space to better understand themselves and their emotions, develop problem-solving skills, and build healthy coping mechanisms. These tools support emotional growth, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

Couples

Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a licensed therapist works with both individuals to address situations and issues unique to couples and relationships. This can take on a multitude of forms as each relationship has different needs.  Relationships can be hard.  Together, our goal is to gain a better understanding of the relationship, the individuals involved and how the dynamics of past, present and future can affect the life of that relationship.

Individuals

Powerful feelings such as stress and anxiety can have a deep impact on your well-being and on those around you. Each person’s life journey and perspective are unique, and navigating that journey can sometimes feel lonely, confusing, or even overwhelming.

Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore your experiences and emotions. Together, we’ll create individualized goals that support a more meaningful, authentic, and fulfilling life.

In addition to addressing stress and anxiety, I also offer grief and life transition counseling to help you find healing, clarity, and balance during times of change or loss. Wherever you are in your journey, therapy can be a powerful step toward growth and greater emotional well-being.
Change is an evitable part of life.  Sometimes, that change is welcomed.  Sometimes, that change is scary and unwanted.  Adjusting the lens through which we see and approach those changes can often determine the impact those changes will have on our lives.  It is my belief and experience that you will get more out of your life if you are willing to change. Change is spurred by a feeling that something just isn't quite right, that something could be better, that there's an issue you want to resolve. Therapy is an important step in discovering the world around you and finding your place in it.
